Create a languages buzz around your school with our global online vocabulary competition

Here at Collins we are celebrating European Day of Languages 2018 by announcing our upcoming annual Vocab Express League of Champions.

This is a weeklong competition (10th – 16th October) where secondary schools will go head to head against others around the world using their language skills to become global vocabulary learning champions.

Schools will be able to track the action as it happens with real time leaderboards and play for exciting prizes.

There will be two cups to play for:

  • Genius Cup (overall & all languages) – total points obtained by top 25 students at each school
  • Challenge Cup (overall & French/German/Spanish) – total points obtained by all students at each school, divided into 3 leagues:
    • Challenge Cup Piccolo (schools with 150 or fewer registered students)
    • Challenge Cup Medio (schools with 151 – 500 registered students)
    • Challenge Cup Grande (schools with over 500 registered students)

Why not help raise awareness of the importance of languages and get students excited about language learning by taking part in this free competition. If you are an existing school subscriber to Vocab Express you can also take part!
